In this project, I wrote a pattern generator to create a layering landscape pattern based on color. From this three-week exploration, I understand the basics of Grasshopper and data tree, and the fundamental of computer-generated 3D technology.

I really enjoyed the nature view in my homeland, where those layered mountains beholds the stories in history. So for this short paramatric project, I want to play variations of organic shape with HSV color attributes.
Design
So there are 3 different attribute to define a HSV color: Hue, Satuation and Brightnes. With this in mind, I can map these three data into the pattern creation. As a result, the hue is going to change the seed of mountain, satutaion is going to affect the intensity of the curve, and the brightness is controlling the overall height and layers.
